How to Stay Fit While Working from Home
1. Sit properly
If you notice yourself slouching or slumping and later complain that your back hurts, you need to find a solution for that. Get a better chair or get a back strap that pulls your shoulder back avoiding you to create a hump.
2. Try using a Lumbar Support
The Lumbar support reduces the amount of lumbar flexion (rounding your lower back), which in turn reduces the amount of thoracic flexion (rounding of the upper back and neck).
3. Try some easy desk stretches and exercises
Follow EUFIT project for ideas
4. Get up and move around
It is very important to take a break in between work and just loosen up your muscles to avoid cramps and muscle spasms.
EUFITME /EUFIT Methodology/ is coming soon

The methodology includes easy to follow strategy and exercises to follow while working. It can encourage and coordinate the actions of a range of departments, organizations, educational institutes and different businesses to promote increased participation in physical activity.

Moving or stretching is a buildable habit. For starters, you can set a timer to remind you to take a quick walk or stretch. If you’re pressed for time, there are even certain stretches you can do at your desk. Here are some ways to work out those computer kinks.
Remember to breathe normally throughout the stretches, and never hold your breath. With each stretch, you may find yourself more flexible. Don’t go further than is comfortable.
Triceps stretches
Raise your arm and bend it so that your hand reaches toward the opposite side.
Use your other hand and pull the elbow toward your head.
Hold for 10 to 30 seconds.
Repeat on the other side.

ways to include sports activities in the workplace:
Create a No-Internal-Phone Day
Although office managers cannot do much about the need for workers to use their computers, they can stop them from using other technologies that are keeping them strapped to their chairs. Employers can choose one day a week to stop workers relying on their phones to talk to other staff in nearby departments. This would have to be implemented within reason, but it would mean workers have to get up and go and speak with other staff at their desks.
Step Counter Challenges
One easy and fun way to get the whole office involved and more active is to introduce step counter challenges. They are universal now, with so many offices providing this in-house challenge between workers to find out who is the most active. You could even offer a prize for the winner such as an extended lunch break or extra holiday.

Workouts Aren't Enough
In fact, it might sound dramatic, but the time you spend sitting in a desk is also undermining your workout time, as noted in coach Jeff Kuhland’s article, How You’re Sabotaging Your Posture and Your Time in the Gym:
"You work out for an hour at the gym, then shower, eat, and head to work. You’ve passed the sixty-minute threshold so your body has absorbed a majority of the nutrients it’s going to from your meal. It starts to regenerate and heal. If you have poor posture with shoulders forward, a curve in your spine, and collapsed hips, your body is literally healing the micro-tears and micro-trauma into this poor position. You are actually healing in a shortened muscular state that remains static, slowly solidifying the new connections your body is making.
So don’t forget to get your frequent breaks while sitting on a desk!

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY VERSUS EXERCISE
25 May 2021
Physical activity should not be mistaken with exercise. Exercise is a subcategory of physical activity that is planned, structured, repetitive, and purposeful in the sense that the improvement or maintenance of one or more components of physical fitness is the objective. Physical activity includes exercise as well as other activities which involve bodily movement and are done as part of playing, working, active transportation, house chores and recreational activities. The EUFIT project /622998 – EPP-1-2020-1-BG-SPO-SCP/aims to promote physical activity and healthy lifestyle despite all the obstacles as limiting factors and restrictions.

EUFIT PROJECT OFFICIALLY STARTED DURING THE FIRST TRANSNATIONAL MEETING

The project will encourage and promote methods for exercising even in front of the computer or indoors, as part of the busy working day and to promote physical activity and healthy lifestyle despite all the obstacles. EUFIT aims to concentrate on the “sitting diseases caused by sedentary and low activity lifestyle” and how to avoid them. The target groups are people between 25 and 50 year old in the active working ages
The project will make a research and will identify good practices in companies to stimulate the physical activities among their employees in lunch breaks or after work activities. Based on the survey, EUFIT consortium will elaborate an EUFITME - methodology for physical activity while working. The project will develop a digital platform DIGIFIT - open-source and easy-access platform, aiming to allow other sport experts to post and provide content, following a methodological framework from the consortium.

Iní čelia situáciu nedostatočnej kvalifikácie v dôsledku rozširovania súčasných technológií a trendov.
Kreatívne školiace a vývojové vybavenie
