Rethinking how many hours we sit every day

Going forward we definitely should rethink how many hours we spend sitting every day — whether it's time spent working (in the office, at school or at home), driving, eating or watching TV. The impacts of our sedentary lifestyles are often referred to as "sitting disease".

The main goal of EUFIT is to promote physical activity and its importance to a broad target group of people. The project encourages and promotes methods for exercising even in front of the computer or indoors, as part of the busy working day, and promotes physical activity and a healthy lifestyle despite all the obstacles.
